What a lousy day for NFL football. Why can't it be Saturday again!
Ask me how I got my great abs!

still lots of time for Al Davis to fudge it up. For now though, Cats win, Raiders win and next weekend is going to be the best, stress free weekend of football ever as both are on their bye week. I'll take it!

My Lions blew a 10 point lead to the Jets....A third and 6 with 1:40 left and the Lions throw an incomplete pass and the Jets had not time outs...UGH...I felt the Lions are starting to turn the corner....and Stafford is hurt again!

Not many Packer Cowboys games go THAT well! I was really thankful not to be a Cowboys fan last night!!Coyote77 wrote:I thought it was pretty good, the Pack crushed the Cowboys. But on the flip side, the stupid Cardinals couldn't hold off the Vikings

Howabout a lousy season overall? Is anyone else getting really fed up with the drama, BS, and hype-machine that is the NFL? Pretty soon, there won't be any pro sports I'll watch. College ball rules ALL!Marty Ackerman wrote:What a lousy day for NFL football. Why can't it be Saturday again!
Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

Re: NFL
This is exactly the reason I hate pro sports. Bunch of damn prima donnas, that make to goddamn much money to play a game. I am so sick of lock outs and season's with no games. Screw 'em, give me a goodcollege game anyday. I don't care who is playing. That is what's nice about digital cable. Lots of sports channels, watched a few FCS games the other day.
I spit in the general direction of the pro's.

In all honesty, the owners have no business having more than 50% of the profit share - or what have you. It's a joke that player contracts aren't guaranteed and it's joke that there isn't a rookie salary cap.

Yes, i agree, longhorn. Screw capitalism. More regulation and stronger unions. That is the answer.longhorn_22 wrote:In all honesty, the owners have no business having more than 50% of the profit share - or what have you. Re: NFL
Capitalism is fine in the right situation. If that's what you want to call it here, fine. Sam Bradford does not deserve to be paid more than Peyton Manning. The rookie contracts are getting way out of hand. All the NFL player salaries are covered by the TV contracts with the teams and the NFL. Interesting thought...wbtfg wrote:Yes, i agree, longhorn.
