Is anyone actually going to tune in to watch this?
I have about 57 other things that I would rather do tonight. What a friggin circus. I think I would rather watch soccer highlights that listen to nobodies talk about LeBron and the NBA circus.

I'll be watching just because my kids will be watching. They are anxiously awaiting finding out who their new favorite NBA team is. I can't blame them, when I was young if Jordan would have done this I would have been very interested.

There is usually one great goal, a couple of great stops and a dozen or so bad calls by the officials to watch. They also can show the goal from 17 different angles and play each angle twice so I suppose that is close to 50 highlights.

i'll be golfing this evening but i can assure you that many, many people will be watching. that's why i think it's cool they're donating the proceeds from this show to the boys and girls club. like someone pointed out, if jordan would have done this 15 years ago, i would have been glued to the tv. it's the evolution of sports...

It gives everyone someone to root against. The Yankees of the NBA. I will probably watch less NBA than before. They will be in the same interest level as MLS for me.

Lebron threw away having any chance at claiming the "GOAT" label. Now if he does win a ring(which he probably will but I will love it if he doesn't) it will always come with that stigma that it wasn't "his" team. I honestly don't think this will work out. Sure they had fun together at the olympics and in the summer stuff but how will they gel for a full season?? I think egos will take over at some point and this fraud of a team will fall apart sooner than later.
This might be good for the league though. It gives everyone a team to hate besides the Lakers and if any eastern teams can step up to the challenge, people will want to see "bronbron" fail. I still think the Bulls, Celtics, Bucks, and Magic could be serious thorns in "The King"s side.

I don't understand why so many people are pissed at him. Did you read the letter written to the fans by the Cleavland Cavs owner?
What a douche bag! How did Lebron betray him and the Cavs? He got a different job, that's all. So, the owner is going to pick at free agency and get the best players possible from other teams. Are they betrayers too? Jesus, some people!

personally, i loved the move. actually i think he'd have been better off in chicago but this is still a great fit. maybe...just maybe, he doesn't care about his legacy. he's always said that he just wants to win. and to top it off he left over 30 million on the table to leave cleveland and try to win a championship. not to mention he's always been a very unselfish player, and i really don't think egos will come into play. i guess boston bought their championship too when they added garnett and ray allen to paul pierce. when the lakers couldn't get the job done they bought their championship by adding all star pau gasol. i guess i just don't see it that way. if anything it was refreshing to me to see a guy who puts rings in front of money.
all that said the hour special was ridiculous. it was awkward, and i think it was a crappy thing to do to the cavs franchise. i would have liked him to have told them before that he was planning on leaving rather than having them find out when you and i did. seems like he owed them more than that. but i just can't fault the guy for making this move.

I heard that all the proceeds from the show went to the Boys and Girls club. Not sure if it's true.

ya it is true and i think that part was very cool. but by not telling the cavs before the live airing i thought made for really awkward tv. lebron didn't even look comfortable out there. it's not the hour long show itself that bothers me as it was for a good cause...it's just how the whole thing was handled. sloppy and a little disrespectful imo. but i will never blame a guy for trying to win.
