fully admit i'm bias...but that game was just silly today. never been so excited watching them play i don't think. people can say what they want about the favre signing...but todays last drive...80 yards with no time outs and a game winning touchdown...is exactly why they did it! next up...the pack! anyone who will be in bozeman, we're already forming a crew to meet at the cats paw. come join us!

Folks can say whatever they want about Favre, but today was a great game for a great player. The only thing that pisses me off is that he isn't a Raider- damn do we need a QB...................

We happened to be in Buffalo Wild Wings for lunch when this game was finishing. There was 4-5 games being displayed. But, when that touchdown took place, the whole restaurant erupted. I looked at my son and said "that's why they brought him in".

exactly. we are simply a way better team with favre than we would have been with who we had at qb. i bet even gtapp is happier with this signing now. and he's gonna be even happier next monday night. and while sanchez is playing well for the jets, i still think harvin is gonna be rookie of the year. i know grizh8r thinks he's a bust but 3 tds in 3 games suggests otherwise. the guy simply will get too many opportunities this year to not make plays. man i hope we can ride the momentum of this game and rattle off a few more wins!

Jets fans can attest. The favre show is like the Arod show. Will last until crunch time then fall apart. Good luck while it lasts.

well, i hope not. favre has never really struck me as a guy who buckles under pressure. sure he's thrown a lot of picks but yesterday was his 42nd, 4th quarter comback for a win. in the playoffs he has more wins than losses, more touchdowns than interceptions, and a ring. and as i said, the jets and sanchez are playing well, and i think that it will come down to he and harvin. however, before the season started i would have guessed moreno and harvin. but sanchez is playing really well, and so is harvin. far from a bust though which is kind of what i'm getting at.

Even though I hate the Vikes, and want them to do poorly even more with Favre....you have love the way he puts his all into a game.

The hardest part for me is now listening to all the Viking fans around here and their love fest they are having after listening to them for years criticizing, belittling, and discrediting him. The instructor in the class I took today asked who loved the game. Some loudmouth ( ) made sure they all remembered that it was thanks to a Packer!! :D

Cant get anything past the steel trap memory of WTG... :P I guess I was just skeptical of his size and ability to play NFL football. He's proven the doubters wrong so far. Helps when you have All Day and Favre on the team...

well i fully admit it's early, and i'm not crowning him yet. but i know the vikes system pretty well and on draft day i figured they would go after him. after watching him practice during camp in mankato, and seeing how they were using him i knew he'd get about 15-20 touches a game to make a play. and we haven't seen anything yet. i think he'll throw a touchdown before the season is over too. but as i said, if sanchez and the jets keep playing like they have been...it's his to lose.

As far as the last drive went. I really can't remember a moment like that since Tommy Kramer. Kramer could catch fire and always did pretty good in the 2-minute offense. Anyway, it's been a dam long time since the Vikes had a QB that could snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. Favre is still one of the 10 best QB's in the game today! It is going to be one of the best Monday night games of all time next week.

Sanchez will fade as the schedule gets tough (i.e., November December timeframe). Plus, the Jets are winning not because of Sanchez but because of their D. I do like Sanchez, but right about now, NFL coaches will figure him out and start taking away his strengths. In other words, you can gameplan against Sanchez. You can't gameplan against 4.2 sec. There's a reason Farve tries to get Harvin the ball almost on every play.

good points. right now you can tell that harvin is favres favorite target cause he catches pretty much everything. he's also getting more comfortable with sidney. if berrian continues to drop every ball ever thrown to him, he's gonna quickly find himself on the bench! it's getting pretty bad with him right now. i'm standing by my prediction of the vikes starting 5-0 but after that our schedule gets tough. ravens, steelers, and pack at lambeau will noy be easy. i'm excited with where they are right now but man it's not gonna be easy to keep up.

Times like that drive are when you love Brett Favre, I am a Packers Fan and there were lots of those. But I beg all the Vikings fans to also remember the many times he will break your heart with bone head throws that have the opposite effect. I loved Favre as a Packer but he is the enemy now so GO PACK GO!!!!!!!!!!!

well, here's how i look at it, and i can't speak for the rest of the vikes fans. but the vikes have broken my heart more times than i can remember. losing to the eagles last year at home. starting 6-0 and missing the playoffs. going 15-1 and missing the superbowl. (a superbowl in which we would have destroyed the donkeys) going to 4 superbowls to lose them all. as a vikes fan, they always play just well enough to give you hope, and before you know it, the season is over and you're crying in your beer. so, will favre throw interceptions? probably. but probably less than tavaris jackson threw. or sage rosenfels. the difference is that favre is capaple of making the big play too, as we were once again shown on sunday. but there will never be a game in which favre plays poorly, and i think to myself we would have been better with jackson, rosenfels, or booty at quarterback!

True Dat WTG! As far as Berrian goes, it is going to be dang tough to keep Greg-f-ing-Lewis off the field after that catch. Berrian would have never made that catch in a 100 tries, in my opinion. At the same, though, I think Berrian will make some more big plays for the team (like last season) this season before its all said and done (just not critically big plays like Lewis made). He can still take some heat off Harvin and Rice because he's just dam fast.

ya, i'm pretty frustrated with berrian so far. i'm hoping much of it has to do with him and favre just not getting many reps together. with him being hurt, and favre missing camp. but he missed a couple that were perfect on sunday, and percy and sidney don't seem to be having a problem so i don't know what the deal is. one theory is that because he was best friends with bobby wade, and was frustrated with how the vikes released him, it;s affecting his performance. that may be a little extreme but the guy did walk into practice wearing wades jersey the day he was released so their are definitely some emotions there. but something has to give, and he's gonna have to make plays or you're absolutly right...lewis will get the reps. can't describe my excitement for this monday. vikes are wearing throwbacks and favre is gonna be wearing pink cleats for breast cancer awareness! when the story broke it was him, chester, and greenway...but i'm predicting this team doesn't let their leader wander on the field wearing pink alone, so it may be interesting.

The Bears let Berrian go because of his questionable hands. If he's wide open, he does OK. But, I don't recall ever seeing him catch tough passes either when he was a Bear or a Vike. Don't get me wrong; last year he had some kick-ass stats, but those were basically pitch and catch plays. He could still be a force, but I don't see him here long term. Can't wait 'til Monday. I think the Division boils down to Vikes and Pack.
