did anyone else see that Perriam (or however it's spelled) was playing some other TX H.S. team on ESPN 2 last night?
Is that just blatant product placement for Friday Night Lights?
Seriously, is Friday Night Lights a Disney/Miramax/subsidiary film? Cause disney also owns ESPN. hmmmmm

HelenaCat95: Whats new about that. All networks barely cover sports they don't have a contract on...ever hear anything about Basketball from anyone but ABC and ESPN? Then they turn around and cover network reality TV like it's news. Dan Rather talking about Survivor give me a break. Fox and the factor Interviewing Trump like he has something to say other than "you're fired."
I myself found the game interesting becouse Odesa was playing Lee High from Midland, the Rich town in the book. Speaking of the movie, I think the movie sold out the book. rant off........

Wasn't the Permian (black/white unis like in the movie?) game on Fox Sports? At least in Bozeman there were two TX HS games on at the same time, one on Fox Sports and one on ESPN 2. I thought the ESPN 2 one had the #1 team in the country playing someone. Didn't pay much attention to either one, was watching Louisville/Miami.

you could be right......but if you are, it blows my whole conspiracy theory. Thus I choose to believe that you are wrong.

I'll agree it was either on FSN or ESPN2.

Either way, I know that the Trilateral Commission, and a group of aliens from Area 51 must be involved.

The thing I couldn't believe is why two TX HS games were inexplicably being shown simultaneously on two different channels...perhaps Fox and ESPN are teaming up to brainwash us all into seeing that movie.

HelenaCat95, MSU01 I find it hard to break the news to you two. As cat fans you've been brainwashed for a long time know.

This reminds me of the Simpsons episode where Bart gets all conspiratorial about Major League Baseball controlling everything...turns out they were trying to tell us something.
