ESPNRadio is reporting Utah has fired Ray Giacoletti (formerly of Eastern Washington) and Fox is reporting that he has been forced out. I am really surprised he could not make it work at Utah. I really thought he would be a great fir for that program.

With EWU have such a disappointing year..... could he come back to the Big Sky?

I knew it.

Great fit? No his record was greta due to Bogut his 1st year, but he has damn near driven that program to the bottom of the conf.

Not to mention has been taken 3rd seat in State to BYU and Utah State.

He will land somewhere decent, I doubt Big Sky though.

How safe is the current EWU coach (sorry I can not remember his name)? It seems that their program has dropped every year since he been there.

I am not suprised, Giacoletti just isn't a good head coach from what I have seen. He spent a few years at NDSU and our program went downhill fast, I think we lost to a DIII school at home during his last year in Fargo.
