Normally, most of my recruiting info is MSU based with a little UM mixed in at times, but Rocky just landed an outstanding recruit from California that I had to mention. Sam Osofsky signed a letter of intent to play for Rocky next year. Sam is a 6-4 scoring machine guard / forward. As the link to the article points out Sam is averaging 21.6 points per game, 6.23 rebounds per game and 2.16 assist over 3 1/2 years of high school ball. I believe as a senior he is averaging close to 30 pts a game. This kid could start as a freshman.

Sounds like a terrific recruit for Rocky! Way to go coach. Then today's Gazette had an article saying Chad Sukut has two years eligibility left and that is also great news for the Bears. He is a player plus and with those two coming in next year Rocky will have two scoring machines and won't lack for points. Chad can and will play "D" too... a great kid.

Chase Sukut is his name, actually. I don't know his story of why he left UW-Green Bay. At least he gets a couple years of eligibility still.CatFamily wrote:Sounds like a terrific recruit for Rocky! You are right... my bad... I know the family pretty well and still got it wrong! Sounds like he got another year due to a broken hand injury that limited his play this year. If he is anything like his brother he is a smart kid too! Chad was a class act and a great person... and I am sure Chase will follow suit. Here's wishing Rocky well.
