..... Does anyone really care? Something like 46 days since OSU has played and Florida has not played in around 32 days! I had completely forgotten about the game until I turned on ESPNRadio this morning.

Are you trying to pick a fight? Come on, bring it on! Just like I'm going to put my Falcons hat away now and start wearing my seven-year-old's Tampa Bay hat now, I'm swiping his Florida hat for tonight (the one he bought to bug my UGA wife.) Man, I can't wait for spring practice to start because all we're going to see on television now is...(except for the pros)

Yawn...... If I am wrong.... who cares! This game should have been played last week! Hell this should have been the last game in a 8 team playoff. Anything short of that and I do not care!

Remember when all the bowl games were done on or before New Year's Day? Even then that was too long after the regular season had ended. We're now into the second week of January and now just having the final game. And pro-BCS folk complain that a playoff system in 1-A would take too long

I thought that College Football was over, you mean they are going to let the media pick a national champion tonight. :penalty: ... Unless it is decided on the field between the best teams in the country (teams meaning more than 2) it is not a championship. It is an invitational and a weak one at that.

I guarantee that it is not as good a game at the Boise State game last week.

Chicago vs. San Diego is the NFL Championship, lets get rid of this stupid playoff system, I am much to busy doing my wife's honey do's to spend a whole month watch the real champion be crowned

Don't worry I just broke my soap box.

Personally, I hope that they both lose; Boise State can be voted national champion!

I'll take Florida over THE OSU by 10 tonight. SEC is tougher conference in my opinion this year. That is why they play the games though.

That didn't take long...7-0 Ohio State, sixteen seconds in! I was hoping for a good, close game, but depending on what Florida does right now, this could be a long night for the Gators.

That Opening Kickoff to the house by Teddy Ginn Jr. reminded me of something...but I just can't put my finger on it :x

The one you returned (which was still one of the greatest plays ever!) was 4 seconds faster than the one Ohio State returned. And it was a lot colder.

This game totally sucks! No way you can take what are supposedly the two top college teams, give them a month to a month and a half off and expect to see a national championship game. Give me the PCS anyday.

As I said earlier- if this is the National Championship game, what a sad show for the FBS.

So I guess I can strike my previous comment after the kickoff to start the game...I think Florida responded pretty well! This was one of the more disappointing National Championships that I have ever seen. You would expect a better matchup, but what can you do?

I don't know about that - the first half was damn entertaining. The second half was a snoozer, but the worst championship game I have seen in recent memory was the 55-19 USC-OU blowout in 2004. The game was over at halftime. At least in this one, OSU was only down 13 at the half...

I guess the Florida fans thought it was a pretty good game  Just got a few emails from some of them.

OSU was down by 20 going into half after Tebow threw that touchdown after the Smith fumble with less than a minute left. I'd have to say that it was pretty much over going into half just like the USC/OU game...which was also a disappointing championship game. I guess I was just hoping for a better, closer game. Oh well, good for Florida to quiet the naysayers.
