Bobby Petrino is the new HC of the Atlanta Falcons. I suppose the next rumor will be that Hauck is going to Louisville.

Mixed feelings about this, but...he just signed a ten year contract with Louisville and they way he conducted himself over the Auburn position...I hope Lubick or J.L. don't wind up taking the Louisville position.

Nice post, by the way, Bell's. Who, in fact, are you calling a loser? I hope it's not Bobby Petrino. He is from a great Montana football family and he is taking a great job. You should be excited for the guy.

Tough decision..........let's see.......

10 yr. $25M contract at Louisville

vs

5 yr. $24 M contract at Atlanta

#-o , I guess it wasn't that tough.

Great career move for Petrino.

????? WTF? Louisville won't have to still pay Petrino will they? I haven't read that anywhere.

I am fairly certain that Lousville will no longer pay Petrino after he quits working for them.

In fact, I would guess that the Dolphins may have to pay Louisville some amount to buy out the contract.

I wouldn't consider Petrino a loser, personally.

You mean the Falcons and I wouldn't consider him a loser either---and for that matter not a looser.

Yep -- mixing threads in my head.

My multi-tasking skills are *looser* than I'd like them to be.

It was apparent that Louisville was going to fill the position in a hurry and that Kragthorpe was in the drivers seat.
