Knight was being interviewed about the record and he says he'd never know about it if the media didn't bring it up. He said it's a meaningless record and that a meaningful record would be for doctors. Like, Dr. Smith performed 19 surgeries last week and 12 were successful, while four died and four others are hanging in there. Funny stuff.

we need more coaches like knight in all college athletics. seems to me the kids that do play for him, for the most part, thank him for the life lessons they learned.
