More like the 'Griz always find a way to make my Touretts (sp) come out with last second field goals. I always seem to find myself yelling four letter words at the end of the game!!!

great win for the griz against a tough and classy caly poly. the griz have to have one of the best d's in the nation - they kept the team in the game, gave them the ball several times and stopped a good offense. i was impressed. their offense was mediocre, but cole sure looks scary.

anyway, great win griz! to me, this is the first game the griz looked like they deserved to be ranked (even if they would have lost).

Never argue with an idiot. They bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Thanks, Toddler. Although I disagree with your comment about this being the first game they deserve the ranking (since they've now beaten 3 teams currently ranked in the top 25), that was a classy post.

As I've said many times, it wasn't pretty, but there is no such thing as an ugly win (in fact, I'm sure there are plenty of cat fans saying the same thing after today's game).

the play of the game was not luck. 4th and 13th with about 2:00 left. The Griz made the play which allowed them to win today. Otherwise, they played like sh(t

The lucky play was ealier in the 3rd. The turnover was huge.

I was talking to my father-n-law tonight, he thought that the 12th man helped them win that game. I have to agree, put that griz game in CA and the outcome is different. I guess this can go to show that putting some $(serious) $ into your stadium can help you win the close ones. Hauck reaction after the game really showed how close he came to slipp'n that one.

I don't remember a generous spot, but I do thing=k (without seeing the film) the griz might have gotten a key conversion on a pass that the receiver was OOB on. But really that makes up for the 2 passes that were ruled incomplete, 1 which the Griz recovered a fumble for a TD, the other the griz fumbled OOB after the 1st down.

Anyway, great game by Cal Poly, I'm thankful for the win, and fully expecting Cat-Griz to be battle with no clear favorite.

Yeah, that prediction was a tad high, I'll admit. Just reacting to BCF who thinks you guys already have it in the bag.

If you saw that 4th down play live, you know the Griz were handed this game. The ref gave Bagley "forward progress" to a generous spot on the field, even though no defender touched him until he had gone 2-3 yards back up the field and lost the 1st down. Another TERRIBLE call by the refs; not only did they misuse the forward progress rule, they gave Bagley at least a yard to a yard & a half more than he had earned...

Yeah, do you mean to tell me, swill, that you don't contest my take on that play AND that you take pride in knowing that the Griz won the game (and will likely remain #2) because of a terrible call by the refs?
