I did think SDSU was underrated but I agree, I didn't see them beating Cal Poly. Montana played a great game against them in Missoula.

Cal Poly has played a few games pretty flat this year. Hopefully, they will now feel like there backs are against the wall like the Cats and go to Missoula and kick some ass.

This will be a great game and if noble plays like he did against the griz in the playoffs it could be a real nail bitter for griz fans.

I agree, we've had two nail biting white knucklers already... and I know NAU and Weber are not as good as Cal Poly... that's not to take away from NAU's Murieta (sp?) or how Weber's D played yesterday.

I don't know How NAU and Weber stack up against Cal Poly. Poly only beat Sac State by one score. I realize that Noble and Ramses are a year older but Gocong is gone and they just don't seem to be playing as good as they were last year.

I think Noble has been hurt so hopefully he will be returning for the fiz game and they can go back to Missoula and take care of those guys.

Thanks for your support of the Big Sky conference.

My cousin just called me yesterday, an NDSU grad, and said the Big SKy was week over rated (what else is new... we're called over rated every year). It put a smile on my face to see SDSU beat Cal Poly. He was just talking smack in a friendly way...

What I can't wait for is when the Cat's play NDSU. One cousin graduated from MSU and the other NDSU... and their other brother graduated from U of M... could be some interesting games to watch with them in the future.

I had to give SDSU some love when I voted in the AGS poll. They are obviously a lot tougher than that D3 loss would indicate. Hats off to a team coming back from that kind of disaster.

Thanks for your support of the Big Sky conference.
so many things wrong with that logic.....

Explain. UM's loss to Poly would do nothing to help MSU's cause. I can understand you rooting for a BSC team to beat Montana. But to root for Poly to do so is just anti-Griz/anti-BSC.

by your logic - the cats (sans everyone in the BSC) - should pull for the griz in every non-BSC game? if so, does it work the other way around (griz pulling for the Cats in all non-BSC games). try it on - but doubt that is the way it happens......go check out egriz.

I gotta say I agree with GrizinWash here. In two weeks, Cat fans should be pulling for Griz to take out Poly if we want our already almost non-existant chance at an at-large to continue. Poly is in a non-autobid conference, for them to make it takes up an at-large, and more importantly takes one away from the western teams. Playoff history with regionalization shows that they will only award so many auto-bids out west. Knock Poly out of consideration, and with the down year in the Southland conference actually improves the Cats chances of at least being considered for an at-large. I know some Cat fans can't bring themselves to do it, but we really should be rooting the Griz on to knock off Poly.

Besides, the more the Griz win the better it looks when we knock em off on the 18th of Novermber. ;)

The only way the Cats make the playoffs is by getting the auto bid for winning the conference, so it doesn't matter what happens to the Griz. We have to win our remaining games, because 7-4 doesn't get you in. If we finish 8-3 we get the auto bid from the conference, so the Griz winning out will not help the Cats get into the playoffs.

Oh, now Kmax. You had to mess up the perfect paragraph with that final statement. :D

GW, recent history has shown that this is most likely correct. However, if we finish 7-4 we are still technically "eligible" for at-large bid by having the magic 7 D-I wins that the selection committee is supposedly looking for. It is not unprecedented for a 7-4 to get an at-large bid, as a matter of fact I believe it was Idaho that last did it in 1995 or something like that. I know that our chances of an at-large bid are slim and none, with slim push on the exit door. All I am saying is that Cal Poly winning and making themselves an at-large shoe-in means not only has slim left the building, but none is pointing at us and laughing.

I'm just concentrating on the CATS. We go NO WHERE if we lose so one game at a time. We'll take down the Griz when we get there and get the AUTO BID. From then on it is PLAYOFF TIME BABY!
