The Zadick brothers from Great Falls win gold and silver at the freestlye wrestling world championships this week in China.

These have to be one two of the greatest sports accomplishments by Montana natives ever! To me, this is every bit as impressive as Todd Foster's boxing silver medal in the '88 games. I hope this performance by these two former All-Americans (both U of Iowa) gets big coverage by all of the state's media outlets.

Congratulations Bill and Mike. There were some good articles earlier this week in the GF Tribune that showed how much of a life-long journey this has been for the Zadick family.

I lived a couple blocks away from Mike while in high school. What a great kid! He's a year younger than I am, but I always knew he would do great things. This is such an amazing accomplishment, and I wouldn't be surprised one bit if he won gold in Beijing.

Very impressive indeed.

Foster never won a medal in the Olympics.

Found this link that shows him not placing. On a side note, I didn't think there was a man alive who could beat Roy Jones when he was younger.

I believe Todd Foster won a Silver medal in the Pan -Am Games not the Olympics.

At the Olympics he knocked out a fighter with a punch after a bell sounded from another ring and the guy dropped his gloves right as Todd punched. He was awarded victory then forced to re do the fight hours later. He was not mentally prepared and lost.

Didn't he get a broken nose in the second match and just wasn't the same for the rest of his fights.
