Dennison Said Do Not Bet On The Griz

President Dennison from UM said on the radio this morning in Billings, to have faith in the Griz, BUT DO NOT bet on them for the SDSU game this Saturday. Interesting statement. WTF?

No kidding WTF. Dennison is a clown anyway, and seems to do whatever he can to sift money away from the athletic dept. at UM.

Why the hell would he say that? Unless he is making a statement that he doesn't want anyone betting on college football games...

Celtic I am sure you are right, he does not want to encourage sports beting. But still a funny statement. However it expresses my sentiments.

Dennison is actually the U of M President, but I tokk the line as do not "Gamble" on the Griz. Not that he was not feeling the Griz could win the game.

That's probably true....but that seems like a weird place and time to blurt that out without explanation and no known reason to do it (at least that I'm aware of).

Do you suppose he's found out about my Cat/Griz bet?

It had to be a no gambling statement, but being pompus and upity as he is, he had to attempt to turn a random statement like "I'd bet on the Griz" into an actually intent to put money on the game. Get real George. No one is going to take "I'd bet on the Griz" completely literally.

Dennsion just says that to make sure Hauck doesn't bet on the game. It's just a precaution since Hauck was with New Weasel all those years, he probably worried he picked up the habit.

Well I don't think anyone has ever accused Dennison of being very smart .......... well actually I think being smart is in the job discription of a university president!

Acctually i do not have an excuse for him!
