After reading his analysis of the opening weekend, I was curious as to whether or not he realized the ACC was such a "highly" rated conference.
The argument used to be: "Why do you think Bobby Bowden chose the ACC instead of the SEC?" got old and I was kind of happy when they raided the Big Sleezy Easy, but the same media fools are the ones that read how the A-10 or Gateway did, pay lipservice to the Southern and Southland and go to bed before all of us are done playing don't do any polls any justice. The only advantage of the computer rankings is the comparison of foes and strength of schedule--bring on "They don't play anybody arguments" but it get old.

Much as I hate to admit it, guess I hope USC shakes off their loss to Texas and the rest of the PAC-10 does better in their head-to-head games along with the rest of the Sky (with one exception--just can't do it  In fact, I'm hoping Eastern Kentucky gets on a roll again

Matt mentions the ACC once in his two columns. WTF are you talking about?

"Best Top 25 Win: No. 15 Richmond, 13, Duke 0

With respect to Montana State and Portland State, Richmond earns the nod for the most thorough domination of a I-A opponent. Say what you will about Duke (and most of it is probably true), but the Blue Devils are still a member of one of the top I-A conferences in the country and enjoy the same scholarship edge that all I-A programs do. But the Spiders made them look like a run-of- the-mill team. Richmond beat the Blue Devils in nearly every area, with just 51 rushing yards allowed and a seven-minute edge in time of possession. Ward wasn’t great, but he was effective. The Spiders were really never threatened after jumping out to a 10-0 halftime lead, and they notched a huge win with a tough Atlantic 10 schedule upcoming. Anyone that doubted Richmond’s staying power as a top 25 program should rightly acknowledge Dave Clawson’s Spiders as a team on the rise. "

But I'd expect a fizzle to overlook this...

As much as I'd expect a graduate of Montana State College of the Agricultural and Mechanical Arts to be unable to make a cogent argument.

No desire to have an argument of or about doughboy--can't stand the A-10 or the ACC. Hate the fact there's five A-10 teams in the top 15 and one of there's was a better win than ours...now toddle off to efizzle and contiune telling all who will read that our win still isn't as big a deal as ya'll playing Iowa tough
