NAU just missed a field goal. Score is still 14-14, 3rd quarter.

Still 14-14. The pass from Murrietta to Watson for 80 yards and TD was #6 on the ESPN Top Ten plays tonight.

jason murietta and alex watson just made sportscenter top 10 at the number 7 spot on an 80 yard touchdown pass- how crazy would it be if NAU could pull the upset!!!

A lot of people counted NAU out even before the season started. I have the feeling they are going to surprise a lot of people this year.

I agree. The vast majority of posts on e-griz and this board have said its a race between 6 teams, while giving NAU, Sac and Northern Colorado no chance. I have the feeling at least one of them is going to be in the mix, and NAU showed last night it may be them.

I don't think UNC is as bad as some think either, they gave UC Davis a run last year--at UCD.

They did, but Sac and EWU made the Sky look bad. Even the NAU game could have gotten out of hand early. They had a goal line stand and turnover that could have easily shown ASU up 14-0 in the 1st. quarter. Give them credit thought they capitalized and made it close for a while. EWU did the opposite and got blown out early.

I watched all three games NAU looked good, EWU (at this point) has 0 quarterback play and too much youth and well SAC=SUCKS..
