I wanted to make a single spot to keep tabs on guys in the NFL that we consider close to us. Basically teams we played or from MSU.

Travis Lulay--with Seattle
Jeff Bolton--waived 8/28 by Seattle
Rick Gatewood--waived 8/29 by Oakland
Joey Thomas--waived 8/29 by New Orleans
Roger Cooper--waived by Oakland
Jared Allen--with Kansas City
Chris Gokong--with Philadelphia
EJ Cochrane--with Green Bay
Paul McQuistan--with Oakland
Pat McQuistan--?????
Willie Walden--?????
Jimmy Farris--with Washington
Justin Green--with Baltimore
Chris Horn--with New Orleans (I know we didn't play him but.....)
Casey Fitzsimmons--with Detroit (Ditto.....)
Erik Meyer--waived by Cincinatti
Joe Rubin--?????
Cory Proctor--with Dallas
Craig Ochs--with San Diego (I think)

Any updates on any of these guys or additions to this list would be appreciated. I think it is interesting to keep up on their status.

FYI--I am using waived and released interchangeably. Basically they are playing or they aren't.

Pat McQuistan is currently with the Dallas Cowboys and is (I believe) second on the depth chart. He started the other night against the 49er's.

Ochs is with Buffalo as far as NFL.com says. and Thatcher Szalay is with the Baltimore Ravens.

Casey Fitzsimmons is expected to miss four to six weeks (mid-Sept) due to a fractured wrist :( in the preseason game against the Broncos... according to the Lions website.
