I think New Hampshire has a great shot at it.

I agree--I felt they were the best team last year.
Any given Saturday, I guess.

App. State. I hate to admit it, but Bobby Hauck nailed it last year before the playoffs started, saying that they were playing at a higher level than anyone else and would be tough to beat. Problem is, I don't think they're losing much this season. Be tough for anyone to knock them off.
Great time to be a BOBCAT!

I don't think they would have won last year had their hurt QB not come off the bench and he is gone this year. Also, didn't they lose one of their monster DE's?

yea, App. State had a D end playing now I think for the Bengals. What a load. I think it will be N. iowa they seem to have a lot of drop downs that can fill some holes and were pretty good last year.

I don't think Ape State will have the depth to survive another Southern Conference season; Western Carolina is improved, Tenn Chattanooga is improved, Elon will be back up there as will Furman. Biggest question mark is GSU going to the spread; they're either going to be explosive or plumb sorry and Van Gorder will be back someplace as a coordinator. I think a Bobcat team wins it all--hope it's ours but think it'll be Texas State. At least I hope so because he told both the Oklahoma kids they're not welcome. Still like our chances.

If the Cats can get the passing game going, I think we have a great shot. We have the running back, we have the defense, are O line is better good, but I am not sure about depth. We have some studs drop downs at WR. Will Kamer & Co make the best use of them. We will continue to see up the middle on 1st down, and 2nd down all year long for little yardage. The QB play and Bailey's game calling is the key to our season.

You're kind of right; I want to see execution on the kid's part

Can't wait to see how they handle Colorado because that'll tell whether or not they THINK they can win the national championship. It's all about attitude.

My early money is on App. St. They're returning way too many from last year. Yes, they lost Richie Williams at QB but Trey Elder did a great job coming in for an injured Williams in the playoffs so I don't think they'll skip a beat at QB.
