NCAA I-AA Football Playoffs

The NCAA will hold its 27th Annual Division I-AA Football Championship this fall. Sixteen teams qualify for the championship with eight automatic qualifiers and eight at-large bids. The eight leagues that have an automatic bid are the Atlantic 10, Big Sky, Gateway, Mid-Eastern, Ohio Valley, Patriot, Southern and Southland Conferences. The dates for the 2006 playoffs are:


First Round November 25 (campus sites)

Semifinals December 9 (campus sites)
Championship December 15
