Griz board auto-digestion

Post by Griz Dude » Tue Jul 25, 2006 11:11 pm

For any of you who have read the recent posting over at egriz, the in-fighting has escalated as of late. Seems as if some of the loyalists refuse to allow any criticsms of the Griz on their board.

I used to post over there quite a bit a couple of years ago, but left after they starting banning posters for stating their viewpoints. That board now puts me to sleep. Absolutely zero objectivity. It is a damned shame that freedom of expression is not allowed there.

I respect the board guys at BobcatNation for refraining from banning posters who express unpopular viewpoints. I am sorry, as a Griz fan, that those same freedoms are being witheld over there. Keep up the great work over here, Cat guys.

Cats are looking for some more banwagon fans, there is time for you to hop on. Looks like now would be a good time for you.

It is a shame, EastCoastGriz, that you are unable to take my post in the spirit it was written. It has nothing to do with being a Griz fan, ot better yet, a "good Griz fan", which you obviously must think you are. It is about unwarranted censorship. I guess you have identified which group you belong to. Congratulations.

As for me becoming a "bandwagon Cat fan", I do not think they need me. I am quite content being a great Griz fan, who contributed $1000 to the athletic department last season. By the way, how much does an average "good fan" like you contribute each year, EastCoast? Curious minds want to know.

Welcome to the Nation GrizDude, but as we have told other users before(ahem Wolfman), we do not want to be the place to carry out grudge's against another board so please either drop it or find somewhere else to complain. And since that is essentially all this thread is about, in a move that you and others will no doubt find incredibly ironic, I am locking this thread before it goes further.
