What a hilarious joke Sac State has made themselves. He has as much coaching experience as much of this board, and a lot less than some.

Damn, and we don't play SAC next year.
I'm thinking they should talk to UNC about how getting a big name former NFL guy with little to no coaching experience went for them.

Go ahead, who cares? Several teams in our conference have made "high-profile", famous ex-player/former coach head coaching hires. Ed McCaffery at Northern Colorado and Jerry Glanville at Portland State come to mind right away. They rarely work.

I highly doubt Schefter would post something like that without having some pretty definitive information. The denial from the university likely just means they're still negotiating the terms of his contract. I guess more and more schools will try to replicate the Deion Sanders success story by hiring their own ex-NFL star head coaches!
