Griz player in the portal
Just read that Nick Williams, WR, entered the portal today. Wonder how many more will hit the portal after the Championship game?

Actually perplexed on this because I just don’t see anything about McDowell that stands out at the FBS level. His scrambling was a big key for UM this season but he isn’t a great passer and FBS LBs will be able to track him and his stiff, upright running style down much better than FCS LBs.

An agent group got in his ear and told him he’d have lots of FBS options and NIL. When that didn’t look very promising, he asked if he would withdraw from portal and come back. He was told the Griz had already moved on, which was true as they signed the Fresno St QB shortly after Cliff entered portal.
