I think his personality and brand of football would be a good fit at Boise State. He is also from Idaho and would nearly double his salary.

Also forgot Nate Potter is on that staff

My other choice would be anyone but Vigen.

The timing of this suggests that they want to make a move and bring in a replacement sooner rather than later, so I doubt they'll want to wait around for Vigen who (we hope) will be busy coaching MSU well into December if not January. It wouldn't be surprising at all if they hire Choate, finalist last time around and he has done well at Texas since leaving MSU. Probably a stronger overall candidate now with coordinator experience at the Power 5 level to add to his FCS head coaching experience.
