From yesterday: Idaho moves on from Jon Newlee, all-time leader in women’s hoops wins

Wow, that's a shocker. Always enjoyed watching him coach and he had some great players and teams there.

I am totally surprised, but not completely. The last two years, something had been off, with the team underperforming. In years past the Gina Marxen transfer to the gris would have been quite unlikely. Not to leave the team, but to stay within the conference. Surprised Bea is not off to Europe to play pro ball.

Bea has now unsurprisingly entered the transfer portal.

Is Bea an opportunity for Binford? Just wondering.

That was my immediate thought when I heard that Bea was in the portal and it would be great to see Bea and Deden playing side by side.

Bea will get interest from much higher levels than the Big Sky.

The Tubs in the Pub podcast hit on the Newlee dismissal pretty hard. If you can tolerate the immature profanity it's a good listen. I laughed at how much this hurt these particular Vandal fans.
