EWU draws Washington State in Pullman on Tuesday at 9 PM MDT on ESPNU.
Lots of local interest in that one. Wazzu probably not too excited. EWU could be a problem for them and losing to them wouldn't look too good to the locals.

Thanks for the heads-up on the matchup. Very interesting territorial battle. This game should have some juice.

EWU pulls it out at the end with a 9-0 run and win by 8. They will be a force to be reckoned with next season, they only lose Allegri, everyone else is back.

Nice win for EWU, but it was Wazzu. I can’t think of a team that’s so many embarrassing losses.

Today at 5p is Oklahoma State v Youngstown State on ESPN+. The winner has an unfortunate draw against EWU and the mighty Big Sky Conference. I'll be watching.

According to the ESPN schedule the OSU/YSU game is being played on Youngstown's home court despite OSU being the seeded team. Could be a decent chance for EWU to win a few games if Youngstown pulls the upset or if OSU keeps playing on the road.

Well that should pretty much do it for Venters time in the Big Sky. Adios amigo.

EWU loses by 11. Very similar to the MSU game where they were able to keep it fairly close the entire way but just couldn't make a run to get closer than 8-10 points.

The last three minutes of the first half grounded the Eagles. OSU turned up the intensity a little, and ran a beautiful play from back court for a buzzer-beater corner three. 39-30. Never recovered.

Would I be premature to say ewoo will be in a rebuilding year?

We thought that when their previous coach left with some of their team and the Groves brothers went to Oklahoma, but they came back with this group and were really good last season, and dang near ran through the league unscathed this year. I expect they'll find a few players in the weeds-Gonzaga cast offs or whoever and continue to be good. That being said, if the Bobcats can manage to keep Sprinkle, Brown, Osobor, and Battle and fill in a few holes-I think we're gonna be right there too.

Probably premature since the transfer portal has only worked in one direction up to this point. Any team can look a lot better with a couple key incoming transfers.

Well that's pretty easy on the kid. He can still shop at his favorite grocery store lol.
