Re: Deion Sanders...
I feel like Deion is confirming this for one reason and one reason only, which is to build interest and get a far more desirable offer than Colorado.

Maybe Colorado will finally be able to beat Montana State at something.

I'm pretty fascinated to see how this all plays out since you know that the first thing Deion will do is to install his son as the starting QB and bring in a bunch of JSU transfers. Probably needed since the roster of a 1-11 team will need to be revamped to have success, but that's a hell of a jump in competition to go from playing Alcorn State and Mississippi Valley to playing USC and Oregon.

This is going to be fascinating to follow. I feel like it's going to blow up and be a complete dumpster fire, but I think I'm actually rooting for Deion to be successful.
Has Colter asked Gregorak about this yet?

Wow, just heard a clip of Deion telling the current CU football players to go ahead and enter the portal because it just frees up more room for him to bring in his own guys. This is instantly the most compelling team in college football, good for CU getting him there but boy could it go horribly wrong in a variety of ways.

I'm curious if there's any chance Gerald Alexander ends up on staff there. He's a great young coach with PAC-12 experience.

I’m with you guys, it’s going to be very interesting to follow. C.U. rolled the dice on this one but needed to do something to get a spark. A.D. Rick George mentioned they don’t have the money for Coach Prime quite yet but will find it. He’s asking C.U. fans to not sell their tickets to Nebraska fans (a common practice) for that game in Boulder and to come out and support the Buffs instead. If this experiment fails, I don’t know what’s going to happen to this program that is still paying-off coaches, but I know what will happen to the A.D.MSU01 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 05, 2022 1:39 pmWow, just heard a clip of Deion telling the current CU football players to go ahead and enter the portal because it just frees up more room for him to bring in his own guys. Well, Deion has certainly made a splash with his initial recruiting class at CU. 13 offers pulled from players who had committed to the previous staff, 22 new signings consisting of transfers, southern kids, and only one signed from the state of Colorado.

Re: Deion Sanders...
CU currently has 25 players from Colorado. If Deion "Coach Prime" Sanders, according to the team's roster page

Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!

Maybe that's why Ed Lamb was intrigued the Northern Colorado job?coloradocat wrote: ↑Thu Dec 22, 2022 10:09 amCU currently has 25 players from Colorado. If Deion "Coach Prime" Sanders, according to the team's roster page, starts to neglect the in-state kids that could be an opportunity for us to grab the guys that are FBS walk-on level, either out of high school or as transfers. I'm sure Vigen has some connections in the state.
