Interesting that he doesn't thank the coaches. He must have wanted to get out of there for more than just the opportunity to play at the FBS level.

I find this interesting in lots of different ways! As a punter you probably aren’t going to get drafted, so being in the FBS probably isn’t that big of an advantage. Also being a Montana kid makes this move even more curious. It does make me wonder about the culture at UM. I saw he is married and probably a mature adult. It doesn’t seem from the outside that the culture that hauck pushes would be encouraging of a student athlete having other priorities, such as a wife. I hope I am wrong, but something about this just seems to scream bad things about the grizz coaching staff.

No huge benefit in the draft. But a full ride with cost of attendance, and whatever other bonuses FBS can offer, sure would help out a married kicker.

AFAIK, he’s leaving because he wants to play in the FBS. It’s not about the coaches or the culture.

Win FCS "Punter of the Year" award and immediately enter portal. Ouch.
It’ll be interesting to see if Nebraska offers his wife.
Yep. It appears they are a package deal.

The timing is kind of suspicious. There wasn't a lot time between when he announced he was transferring, he got the offer for Nebraska, and he accepted the offer. Make me wonder when Nebraska started recruiting him.

Yeah, he was a walk on no scholarship at um who desperately needed a punter. Guess they had to many wide receivers on the payroll.

Also sounds like he wasn't going to get a scholarship from UM
Sounds like it’s always been his dream to punt in the big leagues and he’s planning on buying a house. Hard to compete with the Power 5 and their boo$ter$

You don’t actually think he’s getting money from boosters to purchase a house, do you? You think they’d do that…for a punter? Please tell me you’re joking.
Check out the first 10 minutes or so of today's Jason Walker show for some interesting info on this, as well as thoughts on the transfer portal and NIL and an interesting note about Ifanse at about 6:20.....
