Heard the ISU coach was fired before their game today...

I'm surprised he made it as long as he did. Kind of crazy that ISU went 1-10, beat UC Davis and came closer to knocking off Sac State than anyone else in the Big Sky.

Idaho State announced that Rob Phenicie has been let go.

Phenicie was an in house hire. I wonder if Roger Cooper is a serious contender.

And I ask myself... Who the heck wants to go to Pocatello?

Football scoop is saying it's Charlie Ragle, who was also in the running for MSU.

I thought Rangle was an intriguing candidate for msu.

Hopefully Byron Hout and Roger Cooper land on their feet with this new ISU staff, or somewhere else. Both are great guys.

Special team coordinators often transition well into the HC job. I think his biggest obstacle will be Pocatello.
If the U of Idaho coaching rumor is true, I believe ISU has a leg up.

I liked this guy. Experienced football coach, upbeat personality. I think he will be a nice change for the Bengals.

That can’t afford Bozeman.

Yep. Name a hundred large US cities and I'd live in Pokey before all of them.

Idaho and Idaho State are two programs that with the right staff in place, could be back into the top 5 Big Sky teams within a couple years. Will be interesting to watch.

Even Kramer has said Isu would be tough to recruit into, before he took the job. The facilities suck, for some reason they are way behind.

I disagree about this regarding ISU.
I don’t think you can compete on the recruiting circuit with their facilities and location.
