I apologize, I’m young and semi new to this… what’s the big gripe with Petrino around here besides he was clearly not a good head coach. No issues with it I just feel left out!

Don't know that anyone has any gripes about him. I for one would love for him to stick around because he is clearly not a good coach. I think the main gripe about him besides the obvious, football team isn't winning after coming back to the big sky conference, is his enormous salary they're having to pay him.

Since the Petrino's are from Montana, apparently there are some people here who know them from years ago and don't particularly like them. I don't know the specifics.

He's from Helena, I knew him a bit in high school, and he was a complete and total a**hole. I had several run-ins with him and his "posse" back then. Don't want to get into it all here, but he was a sh****y person.
Perhaps he's turned over a new leaf in his adult years, IDK. But I doubt it. I'm not a fan.

The Petrinos were behind me in school at Helena and I never knew them. But I have not talked to even one person in Helena that did know them that liked them or had one good thing to say about them. Other than Bobby Hauck, and even some people say good things about him, I can’t think of anyone else quite this unpopular.

I'm not from Helena but to a person everyone from Helena that I've heard express an opinion on Paul Petrino has described him as a bad person to say the least. Some have gone well beyond the word bad.

Same. I know exactly who his "posse" is/was. I had 3 run ins with him and he acted like a badass with his boys behind him...not so much when alone.
