Wondering what people know about player injuries of teams that we still have left to play? Was there ever any word on the players injured in the EWU vs. UM game?

The EWU receiver looked like an ankle sprain....maybe pretty bad, as he was on crutches.

Lots of talk that Humphrey broke is ankle, not sure on sulser.

That field looked a little soft and it ate up some ankles and knees in that game.

They did say it was new turf. The EWU QB couldn’t keep his footing several times. What happened to the Cal Poly Qb?

Not necessarily an injury but one of UM-Missoula's OL just retired due to mental health. He only started one game this year but their depth definitely takes a hit.

So they are losing their 2nd string QB and getting their 1st string guy back.

I was wondering. Thought he was the guy I read about in the spring season. Is he a frosh?

Josh Davis returns. Guy is trouble with the rock in his hand. I thought he must have graduated two years ago. These careers right now are lasting forever.

Humphreys out for the year, Sussler most likely done as well. With the bye week already gone the gizz snake bit with injuries, November is going to be interesting.

I was shocked their bye week was in September. I've never seen that before. Lucky for them they don't have any difficult games left until Cat-griz. But it's still early in the season, they'll definitely have more injuries.

We had a super early bye a few years back. I think cat griz was after 8 weeks in a row or some crazy thing like that

Yep, getting back their QB1 and several other starters. Good for them, bad for us. Don't get me wrong, I understand the "We want to beat them when they're at full strength" attitude, but this game just got whole lot tougher. They are damn good when at full strength - which is why they've won the Big Sky a buncha years in a row.

Kris Brown looked pretty good for them, I don't think they'll lose much at QB. And he's probably got a higher ceiling than Cam, so their offense might look a lot better over the coming weeks. We shall see.

People I’ve chatted with said Humphrey isn’t done for the year, but no one seems to know for certain.

He should be back. I think it takes 6 weeks for broken bones to heal, unless it needed surgery.

Regardless of his injury, I predict he won't start another game for those guys. Just my hunch

AWESOME!! Get him back just in time for cat griz so he can get totally blown out if the water. Benched in 2nd quarter after 5 TFL and 2 interceptions.

I agree, I think Kris Brown will have his feet under him within those 6 weeks and will be playing well enough that they keep him in there.

This is most definitely true because I haven't talked to anyone. And even then, unless I talked to Hauck himself and he was confident that he was going back to Cam no matter what in six weeks, I wouldn't care what anyone else speculates anyway.

I just think Cam was an average QB. Don't think they lose anything going to Brown. And with the Griz upcoming schedule, I see it VERY favorable for an incoming new starter. If they win all their games between and now and whenever Cam might be ready, I just don't see them switching back.

Who knows?
