I don't think Boise State is very good at men's basketball this year, but Idaho State's got to feel good about their win over the Broncos tonight. I love it-EWU beats Idaho and ISU beats Boise-how about that WAC eh?
Of couse our other prodigal member-Nevada went into the Lawrence, Kansas tonight and knocked off the Jay Hawks. That's an amazing win for the Wolf Pack.
NAU lost at Denver tonight by about 10 or so. The Cats play Denver on Saturday afternoon.
All in all, I think the Big Sky is doing much better in non-conference than last year.

normally an amazing win belgrade. but this years ku team is the worst they've had probably since i've been born! not to take anything away from nevada, they are good and the "other fildhouse" s a tough place to play, but ku is young and not good, and i predict they wont make the field of 65 this year.BelgradeBobcat wrote:I don't think Boise State is very good at men's basketball this year, but Idaho State's got to feel good about their win over the Broncos tonight. it's early yet. i dont want to come across as a know it all! but one of my buddies is a big jayhawk guy and he told me yesterday they would lose. if jayhawk fans are predicting losses at fog allen, there's a chance they are not that good. ku goes to nevada and loses and it's a hard fought game between 2 good teams. but when nevada can go into your house and beat you, you're not great. but they are young. i am guessing but i think they started 3 freshmen tonight.BelgradeBobcat wrote:I haven't followed KU at all this year-that explains the Nevada win-but they still have a heck of a home court advantage.
I was little worried about Nevada being that good-Sacramento State only lost to the Wolf Pack by 7 or so I believe.

Yes, and as Montanans, some of will remember that one of KU's freshmen (heck, he might even be starting now) is Micah Downs, who now hails from Bothell, WA. He moved there from Montana not too long ago. He along with CJ Giles will bring Kansas some great years eventually but it's not looking too bright for them this year.whitetrashgriz wrote:it's early yet. i dont want to come across as a know it all! but one of my buddies is a big jayhawk guy and he told me yesterday they would lose. if jayhawk fans are predicting losses at fog allen, there's a chance they are not that good. ku goes to nevada and loses and it's a hard fought game between 2 good teams. but when nevada can go into your house and beat you, you're not great. but they are young. i am guessing but i think they started 3 freshmen tonight.BelgradeBobcat wrote:I haven't followed KU at all this year-that explains the Nevada win-but they still have a heck of a home court advantage.
