Selle to the Griz??

Folks on egriz are saying that on Rocky Erickson's show, he said Andrew Selle has verballed to the Griz.
Any confirmation/denial??

I think he is very talented. If it is true, then I wish him the best.

I think Larson from Cut Bank is still un-verballed (if that is a word)....although rumors suggested a month ago that he was leaning toward the Cats.

Until I hear or read an actual publication of it, I am skeptical of any "signing" or "committing" that the Cats or the Griz have. There are way too many rumor mills going around for me.

a good source i know just said the cats were at his house sunday night...that he is still up in the air 50-50 as of being a cat or a griz

Yeah Griz fans may say that--and if it is true then the Bobcat fans are going to pull the sour grapes that "we never wanted him anyway."

Maybe whoever wins the Griz-Cat game doesn't necessarily mean you'll get the best recruiting class.

You never know about recruits anyway. There is no doubt the kid is a great HS QB. I hope he's successful no matter where he goes but you only have to look as far as people like his brother or Mason Ophus for us to know great HS players don't always make great college ones

If we get either Larson or Selle that would be great! MSU has only had one (I think) quality QB from Montana (Compson) and UM has only had two (Dickerson and Edwards)(some would argue that Edwards was not that good but he did win a NC). You never know how this will work out and we will probably forget we even had this discussion by the time either produce. I doubt we could get both anyway. Larson and Selle probably don't want to end up at the same school.

Don't forget that Desin has already verballed to the Cats. While he may not end his college career as a quarterback, he plans to start that way. I don't know if he is a quality quarterback or not at the college level, but you cant' argue with his H.S. numbers.

Alright, official news is that there is NO word yet on where he will sign. If he is expected to sign with griz, he hasn't said so yet. Everyone will know within the next 2 days.

I have not heard anything on Selle, but I know Larson was offered only a walk on to UM and a full boat to the Cats. The sources I have in Cut Bank say it is either Montana State or Carroll. I know he had reservations about going to the same school with both Desin and Selle... so if Selle bailed and went UM then the Cats will be in the hunt for Larson for sure. Larson may be the best of the bunch anyway.

I'm beginning to like this Larson kid more and more. I hopt we get him if these full-ride rumors from MSU and walk-on rumors from UM are true.

Somebody help me out here - I have a hard time believing that we would have 5/6 quarterbacks on scholly: Carpenter, Coppack, Possibles (Swogger, Desin, Larson, Selle)
