Here is what so-called FCS guru, Craig Haley, and his crew are projecting. He calls out the FCS Committee rankings as well, saying they didn't do a fair job of utilizing strength of schedule. I agree!

Re: Craig Haley's Playoff Projection
Thanks for the post. I wonder if the committee would really pair up UM with Liberty / UND with San Diego / Poly with Western Ill / and South Dakota State with St Francis. San Diego would make a lot more sense (regionally speaking) with Poly or UM. Likewise SDSU & UND. Those are really weird pairings considering the committees history of trying to keep matchups regional.Grizaddict wrote:Here is what so-called FCS guru, Craig Haley, and his crew are projecting. The NCAA Division I Football Oversight Committee recently recommended the expansion of available charter flights in the first two rounds. That means the Division I Football Championship Committee, which is responsible for playoff selections and seeding, could be less tied to setting matchups based on proximity early in the bracket, said Idaho State athletics director Jeff Tingey, the Big Sky Conference's representative on the committee.

This ^^
After last year's travesty of putting all 5 MVFC teams on the same side of the bracket, they claim they are going to try and get away from a regionalized bracket moving forward. I like this move.
