If anybody has the PAC12 network, their spring game is on right now with Dakota.

1.Dakota Prukop (senior): In the spring game, Prukop utilized short passes for the most part, and with the no-tackling rule protecting the quarterback, we didn’t really get to see what he can do with his legs. After the game, Prukop admitted that he needs to work more one-on-one with the receivers to help in timing in passing routes, and I expect that will be how he spends much of his summer. Across the board, he looked like a safer option right now than Travis Jonsen. But clearly he has work to do. The offense overall wasn’t overwhelming in the spring game.
2.Travis Jonsen (redshirt freshman): He looked good, not great, in the spring game. But you definitely can see the potential for playmaking. Like with Prukop, Jonsen’s ability to run was limited with the spring game format. Overall, he’s still slightly behind Prukop, but it’s much closer than I anticipated when spring practices began. He expects to compete for the starting job in the fall, and that’s a good sign for the program.
3.Terry Wilson (freshman): It’s good that Wilson enrolled early and took part in spring practices. He’s just that much more ahead of the game. He got some reps in the spring game, and you can tell that he’ll be in the mix in the future. My guess is that the Ducks would prefer to redshirt him this season. But if disaster happens, and Prukop and Jonsen go down with injuries, I think Oregon turns to Wilson ahead of Lockie and Alie.
4.Jeff Lockie (senior): With Vernon Adams arriving late to last year’s fall camp, and later getting injured during the season, Lockie had every opportunity in the world to grab ahold of the position, and he really struggled on the field. He’s a loyal program guy, but he just lacks the talent to lead the Ducks where they want to go.
5.Taylor Alie (junior): The walk-on showed flashes with his legs last season when the Ducks were in a pinch. But overall, the offense struggled with him leading the way.
6.Justin Herbert (freshman): The three-star talent from Sheldon High will arrive this summer with a lot to get caught up on and much to learn.

Hard to take much away. Play calling was weird and the team's weren't even all 1s and all 2s. They basically drew names. Dakota didn't have Carrington to throw to because he was on the other team but he did throw 2tds. I think he still starts come fall but Jonsen has a great future with the Ducks.

I'd expect him to start too, but I'd be worried about every QB on the roster if I were a Duck fan. I think DP also threw 2 picks, and one of the TDs was a horribly under thrown ball that was clearly an uncalled offensive PI. DP is fast enough to fit the Duck offense, but he still looks like a mid-tier BSC passer.

Don't want to do this really, but compared to DeNarius, there is no comparison. What kind of rushing yards would DeNarius have if he'd taken off all the time instead of flipping it down field.

For the record, DP didn't throw any picks. I watched the entire game there until the last couple minutes and I didn't see any.

Jonsen threw a TERRIBLE one in the first half and almost had 2 more. All directly at the defender.

Could be my bad. No sound & no names on jerseys-maybe I just went with #9. At any rate, none of the QBs in that highlight reel looked even passable throwing the ball. But man, they've got some wheels.
