ATLANTA – Both the UMLC and CCLA tournaments kick off this weekend, and the two conference playoffs boast seven of the Top 10 teams in the Under Armour MCLA Division II Coaches Poll, which was released Wednesday.

The top three seeds in the UMLC playoffs – No. 1 St. Thomas, No. 3 North Dakota State and No. 7 St. John’s – are all in the first 10 while four CCLA title contenders – No. 5 Dayton, No. 6 Grove City, No. 8 Grand Valley State and No. 9 Siena Heights – also share that honor.

In total, 10 of the teams in those two conference championships are ranked.

The teams making up the Top 25 are unchanged from last week.

Let me rephrase that. Is MSU in the playoffs now?

"MSU will play in the conference tournament at the end of the month in Salt Lake City"

Can't find any info on it though.

Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

This isn't part of the NCAA tourney though...right? Isn't Lacrosse still just a club sport at MSU? I don't mean to take anything away from the MSU team by saying that. Congrats to them on an undefeated season. Just out of curiosity, I presume that MSU and UM play in the same conference...so we must have beaten them at least once this season, or maybe even a couple of times?

um plays in Div. I Pac. Coast league and MSU is Div. II Rocky Mountain. We beat them 13-9 this year.

So, even though we're D-II, and they're D-I, we still beat them? Sweet!! Thanks for the info.

15-0 gets the Cats a ****** 14 seed in the national tournament. Played tough but lost by 3 to the #3 seed Concordia.

Proud of the Cats but the seeding process was a joke. Grand Valley St. was like 7-6 and got a freaking 6 seed. The Cats are a damn good team and are young. Excited for next season.
