I woke up this morning and found myself wanting the Griz to win.

Go figure, huh?

I don't think it's going to end up being that close, Griz offense really struggling midway through the second qtr. It's 14-0 now. We'll see if they can rally and start getting some first downs..only 45 total yards so far.

I always tell myself before the game that I will be rooting for the griz, but as soon as the game starts I say f@ck it and who ever the griz are playing becomes my second favorite team. Just was doing cartwheels with the pick 6. GO BISON!!!!

21-0 now. Bison with 4x the total yards and more than double the TOP. Griz need to get points before halftime here as Bison get the 2nd kickoff I believe.

Wonder how long before the Bizon head coach starts getting looks from the next level?

He'll need to get in line behind The Innovator who coaches the Griz and his 63 yards of total offense in the first half.

I'm back to normal and loving watching the Griz get their asses kicked. If MSU is going to have a down year and get blown out at my first Cat/Griz game in Bozeman since 1997, at least I can take a small amount of joy in this game.

I thought the griz d had played well until they gave up that last TD. The bizon drove down like it was nothing. How long to they keep gus in? His 3 picks are not helping.

Their defense is undersized and has been on the field for over 20 minutes already and NDSU gets the ball to start the second half. It's hard to blame those guys when their QB is throwing the ball to the other team, and there is zero running game to eat some clock.

Agreed, the D was solid in the first 25 minutes. They're gonna get trucked in the 2nd half if the offense can't hang on the ball for a bit. They've already been on the field for 20 minutes.

well the bison start the 3rd by marching quite a ways but the drive stalled and the settled for a field goal. 24 - 0. That's a long ways to come back from when you haven't shown anything in the first half.

Crazy how streaky the Griz offense is, they convert a 3rd and 15 and it sparks a quick TD drive where they look unstoppable. 24-7 now.

Well it looked like the Griz might go three and out but then they made a reception for a first down and two more receptions latter they score. Went for 2 and no dice. 24 - 6

Based only on that one ad that they keep playing over and over, UM really, really plays up the liberal arts theme in their marketing, don't they? No wonder their enrollment is tanking -- think the kids know that dancing and singing isn't something that 99.9% of people are going to study in order to get a job.

Meanwhile, NSDU's ads make you think, "Wow, a kid could really do some cool academic stuff at a school like that ... and maybe they could take jazz dance as an elective for fun instead of taking a lot of jazz dance classes as a major."

It's a good time to be a land grant university. :D
