Just curious who you would pick (not want) to win this game.
Thanks

I don't feel like UM is a good team. EWU has looked like crap the last 3-4 weeks. They are lucky they only lost 1 in that stretch. UM being at home, I don't think I'd bet against them. UM by 2.Blackfoot Griz wrote:Just curious who you would pick (not want) to win this game.

Excluding ISU, Eastern has 5 wins by a combined 17 points. 3 of those are at home. They have only beat one team with a winning record and that is Northern Colorado! Opponents records for their 6 wins = 21-35. EWU is way overrated. UM is playing much better of late and being at home...AlphaGriz1 wrote:We won't be within 3 scores...............

OT at ISU is better? You are right, Ewoo is overrated, but I'll still take them by 2.LTown Cat wrote:Excluding ISU, Eastern has 5 wins by a combined 17 points. 3 of those are at home. You're picking them because they're at home? They've lost to Poly and Weber at home, but ok.John K wrote:I've got to go with UM...by a FG. EWU has not been at all impressive this season. They could easily have 2 or 3 more losses. UM obviously isn't great either...barely squeaking by ISU (thanks to their usual "Griz luck"), which might be the worse team in the conference. Playing at home though, I've got to give the edge to UM. That means if they're going to miss the playoffs, it will be up to us to knock them out.
Be that as it may, it's still an advantage for UM to be playing this game in Missoula, versus Cheney. I see these teams as being fairly evenly matched at this point in the season, and that being the case, I'm going to pick the home team. As gtapp said, a few weeks ago, I (along with almost everyone else) would have picked EWU to win this game easily, but they just don't seem to be a very good team anymore. I'm not sure what happened to them.[cat_bracket] wrote:You're picking them because they're at home? They've lost to Poly and Weber at home, but ok.John K wrote:I've got to go with UM...by a FG. Jordy West is just 32-63-1, 365 yards, four TDs the last two games. QB rating of 117.2. Dropped from 188 to 163. Ouch! What happened?
Yep, it is. It's a road conference win and those can be tough to come by regardless of the opponent--just ask MSU this year...onceacat wrote:OT at ISU is better? Yep...that is very possible. Although, while I'm as discouraged as anyone right now, I'm still hopeful about beating ISU...not feeling great about our chances in Cat-Griz though.LTown Cat wrote:Yep, it is. That and winning 2 of 3 does tell me they are playing better. Yes, they got housed by PSU, but so has almost everyone this year. They pounded a UND team that beat MSU. We were talking at work about 2 weeks ago and I made the comment that MSU may not win another game and that I could see UM winning out. I still find that to be well within the realm of possibility.
I'm in the same boat--would feel better if this week was in Bozeman though.John K wrote:Yep...that is very possible.
