To their fans, though they are always the victims. It is ALWAYS the other team's fault. This article just scratches the surface.

True, and it get weirder the closer to Provo you get.

I don't know if there is a correlation but I played on a Mormon league basketball team for the 5 years I lived in UTAH. Dirtiest league in the world and it is not even close. I cannot think of a single example of sportsmanship in five years.

Did anyone read the comments? Nothing but praise for those "saints in blue and white... That is one team that I have zero respect for...

Now that BYU has gone independent, the rest of the country gets to see what these "saints" are really like. My wife went to Utah, and my cousin played football for Air Force, and the one consistent theme of anyone who has EVER gone to a sporting event there is that the fans AND players at BYU are far and away the worst examples of sports fans anywhere on earth. Right up there with football fans in Philly and soccer hooligans in England.

Imagine the biggest douche in Missoula drunk at Cat-Griz. Now multiply that by 40,000, and you can begin to scratch the surface of being a visiting fan in Provo. Don't ever take your children to a sporting event in there.
