Was listening to SVP & Russillo and heard about this on a SC update. My memory is foggy - didn't we get a player who transferred from UAB or am I misremembering...? Regardless, how would that work for players who have already transferred from UAB to another school?

Des Carter is a senior safety for the Cats this year after transferring from UAB. I believe UND may have picked up 1-2 kids as well.

When I first read the article and the guy was going to raise 7.5 million for a new stadium, I thought WTFHS. Then I realized that that guy must be just pledging to raise that amount himself towards a new stadium.

Are they restarting the program in FBS? That won't be easy at all, at least for the first 4 to 5 years, without taking some risks on some players both academically and off the field.
