Is there a BN bracket pool this year? I'd organize one but don't have time.

I just rejoined the group from last year. HiLineCat created it last year. Here's the link:

I'm sorta surprised that EWU got seeded as high as #4. I thnk maybe the BSC was a little stronger overall this season, compared to last year. Even though UM was the top seed in the BSC tourney, it seems like EWU is generally considered to be the best team in the conference this year, so it's probably good for the league that they won the tourney. I don't know much about Georgetown's team this year, but they're obviously traditionally a very strong program. Still, you have to feel a lot better about the BSC champs chances when they're a 13 playing a 4, rather than a 15 or 16 playing a 1 or 2. It sure would be nice to see EWU pull off the upset. It's been nine years now, since the BSC last won a game. If they do win, they're looking at a matchup with Krysko and #5 seed Utah in the next round. It's interesting how UM"s former coaches all seem to move up the ladder and achieve success at a higher level, while our former coaches all seem to just sort of disappear into oblivion.

EWU got what appears to be a great draw, playing in Portland against an east coast team that has been awful in postseason play lately.

We need more players in the pool, there only about 10 of us in there right now. It's not very big bragging rights when you only beat 9 other guys.

I picked Iowa State to lose to Kentucky in the championship game. Oops, they lost a little early :(

UCLA wins on a goal tending call on a three. And it was an airball. SMU had two chances but they would not drop.....I think Alford was something like 9 of 11 for threes. Nic Moore for SMU was 6-10 for threes.
SMU was down maybe 10 and goes on a 17-0 run. UCLA just kept clawing away.
Heck of a good game.

Yeah I'm not sure how an air ball is a goaltend.

Georgetown should've been called with a T on Eastern and Eric Curry of all refs doesn't call it even after review. And they miss a blatant clean block and call a foul on Eastern. The commentators are even talking about how bad these refs are. It is beyond me how Eric curry has a DI job.

How is that not a foul of any kind? Super classless by Gtown.

Agreed. That changed the entire rest of the half too.

Yup. As I eluded to in another thread, I hate when stuff like that changes the outcome of the game. He basically yelled in Harvey's best, pelvic thrusted him and throw his arm across his chest knocking him to the ground, and then went to get the ball and not help him up. No repercussion, got his team fired up, and here we are.

Kind of funny how he and his whole team thought his awesome defense broke his ankle or something, but Harvey clearly just rolled it on his own.

It kills me to say it but I am/was pulling for Eastern. Agreed that no call was garbage!

Some great games.....
Not sure where I have heard the name before :-^ :-^ but a guy named Montgomery and UC Irvine took Louisville down to the wire.
I would have sworn I heard the announcers say that Mike Montgomery was the head coach. I was listening to the game on the radio while building raised beds in the garden area. I was really busy building so I guess I really heard wrong. I find out that he is not the coach.
Maybe I should stop working and just listen to basketball...... Sorry.

How does a big sky ref get promoted to anything higher especially one of his incompetence.

I really wish I could see video of Curry throwing you out.

Lol. If I could remember which game that was I'd inquire about video.

Mom in Seattle for the games. Awful no-call at the end of the UCI game. Sunday's games should be amazing. Gonzaga-Iowa is going to be a blast. Wiltjer and White were the best two players I saw yesterday. Oh, and Ndyia from UCI looked like a clumsy 6th-grader playing with First graders. Just HUGE!

Seattle to Billings to Missoula to Bozeman to Portland to Billings

What a ride
