Beau Baldwin shakes things up
Baldwin announced he is moving his long time defensive coordinator to the offensive side to coach the tight ends. He promoted safeties coach Jeff Schmedding to defensive coordinator. He said he felt it was time to make some defensive adjustments, and even though it might be uncomfortable within the staff for a while, he see's it as a necessary move forward. He said "sometimes that's the only way to remain of top of the Big Sky Conference, to be willing to push for even more." He said Schmedding, 37, is one of the most passionate, detailed and best football minds he's been around.

Re: Beau Baldwin shakes things up
Something has to change conference wide. Two years ago the playoff record was pathetic. Last year again at 2-3. One win came against a team with no business being in the playoffs and the other was two teams from the conferece playing each other. Baldwin appears to always be ahead of the rest of the schools but it's going to be fun to see what our defensive overhaul and ISU produces next year.Mr Lisle wrote:Baldwin announced he is moving his long time defensive coordinator to the offensive side to coach the tight ends.
