KBZK reports tonight that Bobby Hauck has resigned from UNLV and speculation
has him headed back to Missoula. I certainly hope that is not the case.
Robin Phlugrad and Mick Delaney were both class acts. Hauck, on the other hand,
was the definition of an arrogant coach who lacked class. But, as they say, we
need to worry about what we are doing at MSU first and foremost. I just always thought
it was hilarious that Hauck would not even take questions from his own UM student newspaper,
or even allow interviews with MSU broadcasters.

Hauck isn't gonna be the Montana coach. You can sleep better knowing that.

Well I obviously don't have any inside info but could you imagine BH sitting in a room taking orders from a worm like RE? I can't.

And I would actually welcome the scenario. Could you imagine the sh!t storm that ensue?

Didn't some of the players he recruited get into trouble with the law in zoo town? Would the school/regents put up with that again?

Alpha would definitely start posting again.

Coach Delaney has been such a class act, to follow him up with classless Bobby would be a shame.

Think Bobby would ever write a get-well soon letter to the Cats star quarterback?

Bobby rode the coattails of his predecessor and it made him look good but his time at UNLV says that he isn't as good as his ego thinks he is.

The Griz program would take a huge step back hiring him. I hope they pick someone with more respect than Hauck.

UM would be insane to invite him back to take the team forward. UM needs someone fresh without the antics that Hauck brings. Too much pain and suffering endured to revisit the things of yesteryear.

Yep. This actually appears to have some legs to it. The off-the-field issues that happened when he was at Montana would definitely be discussed. But he could point to his five years in Vegas, ground-zero for tempting bad behavior, where I can't seem to remember a major incident happening with one of his players.

I would not be a fan of this. He's a good coach for that program.

Sometimes I wish Ash had more of Hauck's fiery attitude.

I'll say this though. Bobby might just be what this board needs. Lately you've been fighting with each other way too much. Bobby unites all of you in a common hatred.
