If Cal Poly ends up losing, does this lock up a playoff spot for us regardless what happens against the jizz?

Cal Poly must have really lost their mojo after the ISU loss. I don't see how that UC Davis defense could ever stop the Mustangs.

Will be interesting to see how ISU does against Weber next week. ISU always loses to Weber anyway and with the heartbreaking loss to MSU I'm sure they are going to be down.

It would seem like it unless the BSC only gets two in? That seems unlikely..

Wow, Davis just held CP on 1st and goal from the 6. After watching that running attack I don't know how that's possible!

CP just got the ball back and scored in one play. 48/35 now with 6 minutes left.

Yeah, let's not go down that rat hole again. We know why, it's fixed now. No need for further discussion. ;)

It's a rivalry game guys. UCD has a chip on it's shoulder about losing to Sac State or Cal Poly. They are the better historical program and they generally don't lose to those teams.

This just illustrates that every team in this conference is capable of beating every other team. CP is a really good team, and Davis beat them. Incidentally, we crushed Davis. Yeah, we can look at the glass as almost empty and complain about losing to CP in light of that. But I think the more insightful way to look at it is to realize that we have won a whole lot of games this season, all of which against teams that aren't as "easy" as any keyboard jockey would like to think. Every win against any conference team is a great win. We should NEVER forget that.

The best example is NAU. They beat Poly and EWU, but lost to UNC and UND.

That's not a good example. You can set your clock by a November collapse by Souers.

Yeah, but right when you say that PSU beats EWU, NAU beat So. Utah and UM beats MSU. That gives NAU the auto bid, UM and EWU the first two at large and probably sends MSU home. That wouldn't be ironic. I really don't think.
