Re: Carson Bender Verbals to the GRIZ!!
In recruiting a lot of times it comes down to picking the school that runs an offence that best fits your skills. Obviously Bender prefers to run an option-Offence as apposed to a passing oriented offence the Cats run.The_Bobcats_Suck wrote:Another great get for the Griz and recruiting genious Bobby Hauck!

Wow, you are a litte picky. I am sorry I didn't spell check my post before I submitted it, Mr. Spelling Bee champ!
I know you are a little upset about this great recruiting get by the Griz, but come on, you can come up with better slams than that?

I think Bender would have been a great addition to the Cats but that's how it goes. We got Hoff last year and they got Bender this year.

Now there has to be a reason why he choose the griz other then he wants to play for coach bevis. He probibly didnt have good enough grades to play for msu, right griz fans.hokeyfine wrote:hey, where was joe bignell during recruiting!![]()

Well, you all know that is why you got Hoffy last year!Hell's Bells wrote:

I hope he is able to make his grades, as he is a fine young man, but I have a feeling he will never be eligible to play.

TBS,
I think the point is if you require spell-check, you ARE obviously a dUMb product.
Considering the TRADITION of Griz football combined with a superior stadium and game/day experience (I've granted those items before, so please don't go off on that admission; it's all been done.), I'm never surprised when a Montana kid decides to play football at dUMb. I AM surprised, however, at the # of them who go to dUMb based on those "non-coaching" areas, but then find out that they either WON'T get to play (despite being led to believe they would) or that they don't care for the "genius" and ultimately end up quitting and/or transferring.

Well with the in between semester intersessions that dUMb has, Hoff would be starting every week for the griz right?The_Bobcats_Suck wrote:Well, you all know that is why you got Hoffy last year!Hell's Bells wrote:

Most Cat fans knew from the start that Hoff's grades were something to be nervous about and that if he is to play at MSU, he needs to put a significant amount of effort into his studies. He won't get the go-ahead to play after successfully completing a one month academic "term" at MSU.

Unlike all the cat players who have quit over the last 4 years playing for "I'll be lucky to coach 500 ball Kramer"El_Gato wrote:TBS,

The GRIZ, a quarter century of total football dominance over the cats.
