I just think he is bad at his job. My dislike for him started when commentated our playoff game against SHSU in 2011. I thought he was really bad for the EWU/SHSU game this year and every pac-12 game he has done so far. I think he likes to hear the sound of his own voice. I have a hard time watching the game if he is working it.
