A good number of ISU players have quit or transfered this off season.

So that doesn't answer the question. Why did she quit? Health? Family? Just curious.

I don't know, I/we can only speculate.

There's a lot of speculation as to why she quit, ranging from lack of rapport with teammates to losing the love of the game. Whatever it is, everybody at ISU wishes her the best. She is a great person. Her sense of loyalty to Coach Newlee (an impressive guy) is what kept her at ISU so long, from my understanding.

Only 3 players left the squad, including Molly (so if that's a "good number," then so be it). We'll miss Molly, no doubt. And we'll miss Soo (starting PG) for depth reasons -- honestly, she was not going to start over Andrea Lightfoot (the transfer from Nebraska eligible to play this season).

This team will still be pretty good (admittedly a step below what it would have been, though). Doma will continue her ascent to dominating the conference, Boyce will step in for Molly, and Lightfoot will leave everybody impressed.

I didn't realize that former bobcat joanna hickson is now playing for ISU (according to their roster anyway). She looked like a pretty damn good ball player when she was hear. Too bad Potera drove her away.
