EWU at SUU

Post by cats2506 » Sat Oct 11, 2014 10:40 am

Suu is 1-5
VA and Forte are out
the game is in Ceder City @ 1:00

I still think EWU has more than enough to win

BUT

SUU has had a tough schedule,
L @ FBS Nevada 28-19
L @ #9 SELA 41-14
L vs #19 SDSU 26-6
L @ FBS Fresno 56-16
W vs Weber 31-28
L @ Cal Poly 49-39

I'm still picking EWU but an upset is a possibility with a QB and no Forte and a few mistakes by Eastern

Suu moving the ball at will. Ewoo D looks us disciplined & slow. This could get interesting. SUU 14-7

Comment on the EWU forum indicates that 20 Eagles are out for this game for one reason or another. Might be an interesting second half if the Eagles find themselves worn down.

EWU doesn't seem to be the same without VA.

28-24 EWU 9:01 3rd

EWU isnt the same but SSU doesnt have a lot, although they just got a long pass for a TD

EWU's QB is a pocket guy with a good arm, hasn't been throwing the typical VA jump ball though.

If by "not the same" you mean 70% &3 TDs...passer rating of 192+, then sure. Ewoo threw less than usual, but west played way better than Adams usually does. I'm starting to think that Adams is getting credit that more rightly belongs to his o-line, receivers, and o.c.

Eagles still roll easily.

According to the stats SUU has the worst D in the league, (even worse than MSU), and that was before they played EWU

Damn, you caught on. Adams is an average QB who's in position to shatter BSC records and break FCS records solely because of EWU's All-World OL and WRs.

And didn't they have the best defense in the BSC last year?
