That sucks for EWU. Never want to see a player get hurt. Hope he heals quickly (especially for the griz game  )!

Being reported as a high ankle sprain.

So what does that mean it terms of how long he's likely to be sidelined?

I don't think its a high ankle sprain for JJ. He should be back for their next game.

Flying under the radar on the injury front is Quincy Forte. He was hurt in the fourth quarter against us and hasn't played since. Out two more weeks with a shoulder.

Oh no. Never.
I just heard that it isn't and that he was walking on it after the game. A high ankle sprain will have you on crutches. It doesn't sound like it is, but maybe it is.

They showed him on crutches at the end of the game.

Coach Mick Delaney says that Jordan Johnson told him his injury is likely a high ankle sprain.

Hmm? Didn't he go back in the game for awhile?

Not in the 2nd half, no. He was in street clothes after halftime.

I watched the replay on SWX on Sunday night and I was surprised that they kept VA in the game as long as they did. I don't think they even taped his ankle. He looked pretty gimpy towards the end
