No - I'm actually really looking forward to the game. The Cal-Poly debacle hurt and now we get to see what this team is really made of once and for all. If we beat NDSU - nobody can way we're not legit. Will show that Cal-Poly is just our thorn. If the Bison beat us, then it's back to trying tyo claw our way to an autobid...

Hate to point this out, but that other place 202 miles to the West got slapped around pretty badly by Sam Houston State last year in Texas but more than redeemed themselves in the playoffs against the same team. However, I don't see Poly in the playoffs this year either. Looking forward to the rest of the season because our kids and staff will regain their focus. The 3-4 is suicide against the option because your strength is predicated upon speed and...anyway. This week will be an entirely different set of circumstances.

That's an interesting position. I see 3 tough games remaining on CP's schedule, EWU, NDSU, and the Griz (although that's based on tradition, not the current team, plus it's in WaGriz).

They could lose 2 of those 3 & still get in as long as they win their other games, which they certainly should.

AND hey have toget thru the GWC - not at all easy... after all, UCdavis beat Stanford AT stanford... But, I see CP getting at least the auto bid...

Great West doesn't have an autobid, so much they have to prove their worth and hope for an at-large bid, which judging from last year's snub means they have to just about win em all. Maybe they will get the sympathy at large this year since they missed out last year and are still playing solid ball this year.

Two years ago the committee took 4 Gateway teams and last year they took 4 A-10 and left 9-2 Poly home. Can't see any Great West teams getting in at 9-2 this year either, unless they come to the top seeded Big Sky team.
