Team w/7-4 reg. season record in FCS semi-finals

Post by TomCat88 » Sun Dec 15, 2013 7:12 am

UNH started the season 1-3 and was 4-4, but won its last three games handing Maine its first CAA loss of the season on the final game of the year just to get in the playoffs. It has now won three straight road playoff games (Lafayette, Maine, and SE La.) to advance to the semis.

MSU - 17 team National Champions (most recent 2025); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

Of the five seeded teams knocked out of the playoffs, UNH has accounted for two of them. #5 Maine and #4 SE Louisiana.

They sure surprised me against SE Louisiana - think it was the speed that I didn't expect that surprised the most.
