But what does it mean? In reading the NCAA's guidelines, they are vague at best. With all of the publicity tat concussions are receiving, why is there such a diverse method of treatment from youth to high school to college and beyond?
The NCAA basically states that they have to be symptom free from both rest and exertion then go see a doc and they have to clear them. There are some who play the next week after missing a few days of practice. Some are saying we could see JJ this wkd.
In high school (at Bozeman anyhow), you have to rest 'til symptom free, then it's a week before contact. This means a minimum of one game missed.
Perhaps I am missing something on this. Anyone care to share the most up to date info regarding concussion treatment, procedures, etc?
JJ got a concussion last Saturday

Ok, so it appears JJ did not suffer a concussion if reports are correct. That being said, I would still like to hear anyone's take on this topic.

Team doctors clear players for participation and contact I believe for the NCAA
With the big game coming up I am sure that no key players, for both teams, have any concussion symptoms as of today...
